Passion for Development and Transformation (PDT) is dedicated to diminishing poverty, dispelling ignorance, and fighting diseases through initiatives that educate children, empower women, and nurture entrepreneurship in Tanzanian villages.

Establishing PDT as a Non-Governmental Organization is pivotal in driving poverty reduction and making impactful investments in Tanzania to effectuate economic, social, and physical advancements.

Our Story

Passion of Development for Transformation (PDT) was founded on June 9, 2017, with a clear vision: to transform lives in Tanzania. We recognized the pressing needs in our communities and decided to take action.

Founder

Dr. Nicku Kyungu Mordi

Dr. Nicku Kyungu Mordi, Founder. Her passion and compassion are to see basic human needs in the villages of Africa reached with the combined efforts of different sectors. Teamwork and the values of integrity, efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability are her core values. Her focus now is to improve the lives of women and children.

Joyce Charles Mwakipunda

With a bachelor's degree in accountancy, over 10+ years of experience in finance within the logistics industry, and being a passionate advocate for youth personal growth and development, Joyce Charles has dedicated many years to charitable work. The journey with Passion for Development for Transformation (PDT) began when I received support to pursue education in Uganda. Today, I am committed to giving back to the community and empowering the next generation to achieve their full potential.
